Erika and Horst were my parents first two children. Here is a photo taken in the 1940's: Mama, Horst, Erika and Papa. Sadly, just before the end of the war, an Allied bomb landed directly on our house and not only were my Mama's parents killed, both Erika and Horst also perished in the explosion. A catastrophic day. |
